Welcome to the Ebenezer Baptist Church, located in Williamsport, PA. Our church has a rich history beginning from the Underground Railroad and to this day continuing to light hope deeply rooted in the community and a strong foundation built on faith.

​Core Beliefs

The Bible as Our Sole Authority: We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. The Bible is God’s Word and our manual for everyday living. We believe in and practice daily Bible reading, Bible study, and Bible memorization.
God: We believe there is one God, and God is the creator and ruler of the universe. God has eternally existed in three personalities: The Father (God/Jehovah), The Son (Jesus Christ), and The Holy Spirit.Jesus Christ: We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God and is coequal with the Father. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.The Holy Spirit: We believe the Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son as God. He is present in the world to make humanity aware of their need for salvation that only comes through Jesus Christ. The Spirit lives within every Christian and provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is righteous. The Christian seeks to live under control of the Holy Spirit daily.
Salvation: Salvation is a gift from God to man. Man can never make up for his sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of atonement can forgiveness come to humanity and we can be saved from sin’s penalty. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.Baptism by Immersion: We believe and practice baptism by immersion underwater – the way Jesus was baptized. After accepting Christ as Lord, we do not believe any reason exists to wait to be baptized.
Spirit – Led Living: We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. We believe the only possible way to live the Christian life is by God’s power within us. We seek to practice a daily dependence on God’s Spirit to enable us to do what is right, and to obey God’s command to “be filled with the Spirit.
”Tithing – Giving Back To God: We believe tithing (giving God 10% of all we earn) to be an act of love and a commandment of the Bible. We are a body of believers who practice tithing for the support of the body of Christ, the work of ministry and as obedience to God’s command.

Quiver Youth is designed to engage middle and high school students (grades 6- 12) in an exciting relationship with Christ. We strive to help youth find their purpose in life and to follow the calling to love God and love others. We aim to help students become exposed to and experience Christ, His kingdom, and the biblical purposes of His church. Our services are filled with passionate worship, relatable messages, and relational people who have a heart to see this generation truly Impact their Culture!
There is no better place for them to come and meet both mentors and peers who will walk with them as they walk with Christ.
The “E” YA - Young Adults
This is the perfect place for young adults who want to experience community, get challenged to grow spiritually, and discover their purpose. Young Adults is for real people to deal with relevant issues in a relaxed environment. Whether you're new to the whole “church thing” and just finding your way, or a seasoned believer looking for growth and community, we've got something for just for you.
Men of Valor
Designed to meet men right where they are spiritually and mentally; ministering to the whole man so that he will lead, learn, and lean of one another as the men God. Through prayer, workshops and fellowships men of valor strengthens men to become victorious in every area of their lives.
The Jewels
Womens Fellowship is designed to strengthen women individually and collectively, but reminding women of their unique value every stage of their lives. Through prayer, fellowships, workshops, worship and small groups, the women of EBC are celebrated and supported through this one-of-a-kind sisterhood.
